Bill Jacklin, the 2nd artist invited to participate in the AIPP residency, is known for the translation of his experiences of living in and around New York into dramas of light and colour. His work often portrays the passing of time, life and death and the spectrum of human emotions.

'The shifting pattern, the forms which move in and out of focus, the transition from one state to another, the process of change and above all the light, which can alter from an incandescent blaze to a sulky glow, are all constant themes and variations in Jacklins work.'

from an essay by Mary Rose Beaumont.

Bill Jacklin is represented by Marlborough Fine Art, London.
