This set of six lithographs have evolved from the pages of A Year of Ranting Hopelessly, a book published late last year with Paupers Press, London. The book, below, is a visual diary with an image being made each day for a year (25th Dec 2004-24th Dec 2005). The prints produced here represent either one day or one week from that year, (there were times, as in Disasters of War (after, after after…), when images were built over a week). The images were unedited, unadjusted out pourings made between 8-8.30am, before taking my son to school. They were intended to be an insight into my thoughts and undisciplined mind.

The new lithographic prints are made from the originals. They remain as raw or as sophisticated as the pages of the book, other than for their enlargement and the introduction of a backing coloured plate. They are intended as visual seductions.
