"To create is divine, to reproduce is human." - Man Ray

Paupers works with many leading UK and International artists by commission from galleries and publishers as well as directly from the artist.

Our publishing programme invites artists to work with Paupers on specific projects and is an important and expanding part of the studios practice.

Exploring their practice through all the techniques, processes and materials available, artists create projects which can be single works or portfolio collections, artists' books or unique works.

Artists often combine several techniques using hand drawn, photographic and digital imagery. Techniques include stone or photo-offset lithography, hand cut and digital relief woodblocks, hard/soft ground/aquatint etching as well as copperplate photogravure, photoetching and polymer plates.
